An introduction to finite markov chains and its application with software
The thesis presents a basic introduction on the topic Markov Chains. It shows how skills acquired from Linear Algebra and basic Statistics courses can be applied. Summary: | The thesis presents a basic introduction on the topic Markov Chains. It shows how skills acquired from Linear Algebra and basic Statistics courses can be applied. The topic mainly discusses how one can predict a future outcome using the results prior to the present outcome. This can be applied to various life situations. All the theorems found in this paper are results obtained from the book, Applications to Linear Algebra by Bernard Kolman 1977. Proofs of the same theorems were not given and the researchers tried to work out some of the proofs themselves.A software is included to help assist the user in solving problems pertaining to the topic. |
