Summary: | This study determined the role of ballroom dancing in the lives of middle-aged women who attend dancing in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The in-depth interview method of data collection with eleven key respondents, was utilized to obtain the necessary information for the study. The findings showed that most of the respondents use ballroom dancing to pass their time, to lose weight, to meet new clients and most importantly to enjoy and to have a grand time. It also determined the patterns that these women follow in terms of time, money and effort that they spend in ballroom dancing. The study also found out the opinions of the women's family members, co-workers and peers concerning their ballroom dancing. |
