Description
Summary:The emphasis of the study is to be able to design a warning device for the car that constantly monitors any irregularity among its gadgets. The TWD covers only the door open warning, gas level, temperature level, oil pressure level, brake fluid level, handbrake engaged, and the lights on warning. A microprocessor system, which is tapped to the input lines of the gadgets, is interfaced to a speech synthesizer to produce the appropriate audio signals. A regulated power supply enables the project to send its last minute warnings to the driver after the ignition is turned off. An audio amplifier is needed to drive the speakers and eliminate noise. Decoupling capacitors are needed to filter out the voltage spikes which corrupt the input signals. With the development of the warning device, the number of car accidents could be minimized. Moreover, it could help in prolonging the life of the machine. This device eliminates the need to constantly monitor the dashboard which displays light and other visual signals. It uses sound as the communication medium between the driver and his car.
