Description
Summary:The empirical study of the determinants of capital structure focuses on the factors that significantly affect the debt-equity ratios of non-financial listed companies here in the Philippines. In determining the factors affecting the capital structure choice, the study will provide evidence whether the capital structure choice, the study will provide evidence whether the capital structure theories are applicable to companies in the Philippines. To interpret and analyze the data, this paper will present the results of a cross-sectional study using statistics. This paper looked into the relationship of the variables identified in the capital structure theories using data from the non-financial companies listed in the Philippines. And finally, these results are consistent with a notion that the individual effect of capital structure theories across firms in different economies are not parallel with each other. Suggestion for future research provided.
