Description
Summary:This study provides an extensive exposition on a fundamental theorem of calculus that applies to a class of Riemann integrable functions. The thesis includes elementary calculus, mainly integral calculus. The main results in this thesis are contained in the article by Michael W. Botsko entitled "A Fundamental Theorem of Calculus that Applies to All Riemann Integrable Functions". The researchers provided a summary of the preliminary concepts in calculus that are necessary to understand the concepts discussed in the article. The proofs of the major results were expanded to facilitate comprehension. Some examples were also given to illustrate and clarify the concepts that were presented.
