| Summary: | This paper describes the perception of male and female soldiers regarding full integration of females into the military institution. One hundred (100) soldiers from the General Headquarters of Fort Bonifacio were taken as survey respondents, fifty (50) males and fifty (50) females. Two (2) individuals, from each sex were also taken as interview subjects. In the process of the study, the researchers found that there was a significant difference between sex and the perceived physical capabilities and the perceived mental abilities of women using the Wilcoxon T-test. Other findings include that rank, length of term and educational attainment had no significant difference with the perceived physical capability and perceived mental ability of men towards the female soldiers. |
