Description
Summary:The PenWriter Handwriting Recognition System attempts to convert handwritten 2print3 text into machine-readable ASCII text. The approach used is in the lines of on-line handwriting recognition as compared to off-line handwriting recognition. Handwritten text data via a digitizing tablet is converted and processed directly using vector-zone techniques rather than bitmapped graphic techniques. These information will be compared to an external library file which acts as the source reference for the PenWriter’s character definitions. Although the data stored in the library file is sufficient for standard print handwriting, it has the capability to be further enhanced and/or customized according to the user’s preferences via the included LibMaker Library Editor program.
