Leonio, Claire Maliksi, Loudette Naval, Melissa R. Punsalang, Rizalea G. Ty, Leslie Ann N. With the growing population in the Philippines, the need for condominiums and townhouses have been the trend in terms of shelter. With the limited space of these kinds of homes, the proponents came up with a concept of a space saving item that stores and organizes things. Thus, the proponents decided to produce a detachable hamper. This product will be made of a durable waterproof canvas material that is attached to a wooden hanger which can be removed, converting the hamper into an all-purpose bag. A feasibility study was conducted to determine if there is a demand for such a product taking into consideration the marketing, technical, management, legal, financial and socio-economic areas. The marketing aspect helped identify the market share of the product. It also helped to determine the target markets' needs and preferences of the product in the primary (households living in Patio Homes, Midland 11 and Corinthian Villas) and secondary markets (college students residing in La Sallian Center and Merriville dormitories) as well as the appropriate marketing mix for the product. For the technical part of the study, it determined the processes involved in the production of the hamper and the production capacity as identified in the time and motion study. The management and legal portion dealt with the form of ownership, organizational structure, general administrate program and the time table for the entire lifespan of the corporation. This portion also discussed the corporate name, Hampbag corporation. The financial aspect of the feasibility study aided in determining the financial position of the business as well as the projected financial statements for the entire nine months and lastly, in the sodio-economic aspect the proponents identified the factors that affected the social desirability of the business venture. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/16640 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
