Seven & One Company Inc. is a manufacturing firm of Tiklope. The name of the company represents the number of members in the group. Seven referring to the seven female members and One for the only male member. The plant site of the company is located at # 30 Interior Sampaguita corner Judge Roldan, San Roque, Navotas, Metro Manila. The members of the company anticipated primarily the need of students and also the young professionals. The product serves as an alternative product because of its affordability. It would also cater to students of all ages because the design depends on the cloth used as the exterior. Tiklope is a multi-purpose organizer that can be used as a clipboard and binder. It is accessorized with a pen holder, ID case, card holders, and a slit for papers. The product's exterior is covered with cotton cloth in plain colors or trendy designs, which suit the different tastes of the market, while the interior is covered with leatherette. The product can also be used as a lap desk. The company's target market are college students. They are considered to be the ideal customers because the product is designed specifically according to their needs. Tiklope would help avoid clutter and loss of belongings, hence encouraging order and efficiency. On the marketing aspect, survey results showed that there will be a potential monthly demand of 79 units, thus its market share is 81.01 %. The market acceptability of the product is at 58%, The price of Tiklope is set at 250.00 pesos each. This was derived by adding the production cost with a mark-up of 59.81%. It would be sold at practicum bazaars and in bookstores. Tiklope would be promoted through direct and personal selling, thru the word of mouth and also the distribution of flyers. For the production capacity, 16 units of Tiklope will be made per week. The total production cost of each product totals to 156.43. Corporation is the form of ownership of Seven & One Company because it would entail a smaller cash outlay for each member to form capitalization. The term of existence of the corporation would be from September 1998 to August 1999. The corporation would be expecting a total of pesos in net income for the first month in operation. The return on investment is 1.99. Each member would give a sum of 2,500 pesos each for the capital. Since there would be eight members namely: Ma. Pura Teresa Buenafe, Cheryl Anne del Rosario, Jovilyn Estaris, May Florence Lopez, Ma.
