This name was chosen primarily because it describes the relationship that exists within the organization and the product itself. In setting up the corporation, there is a need for the following incorporators: Margaret May Cayabyab, Catherine David, Ryan De Leon, Gregorio Lopez, Jesus Miguel Maldonado, Roxanne Manrique, Mary Grace Que, Candy Kathleen Sy, Monnet Watanabe and Maria Kathlea Zamora, to invest one thousand pesos (P 1,000) or subscribe to 1000 shares each in order to comply with the requirements before a corporation may be approved. Pouchelope is an innovative product especially chosen by the proponents. In coming up with the product, the proponents first made sure that the production process uses machines and materials which are available. Since in the technical aspect of the study, the proponents were able to follow the manufacturing process, suppliers of raw materials were available and there were a number of people with machines and equipment that may be rented, the proponents decided to pursue the study. In this aspect, cost per unit of production and break-even computations were also shown. Results proved that after selling 17 units, break-even may already be achieved. This is a very good indicator that the proponents may easily recover their costs and gain profit especially if all the 80 units of production capacity are sold. On the marketing aspect, survey results showed that there will be a potential monthly demand of 942.94 and the market share of 8.48%. This shows that for the 80 units of production, there is already a share for the product in the market. With this, the corporation may decide to produce more in order to satisfy the projected demand. Survey was done using systematic sampling and stratification techniques. This part also showed the different marketing strategies which may be employed. The market preferred display as the primary promotional tool of the corporation so this may be used the most by the proponents. In coming up with the price, cost plus, demand based and competition based pricing were used. The proponents made use of a 60% mark-up for the product and came up with a selling price of one hundred pesos (P100) per unit. The proponents also based the product's features on what was demanded by the market. Financial analyses also showed positive results. Profits may be generated in the continuance of the business and the resulting return on investment was positive. The organizational structure was constructed by the proponents and careful appointment was done for each of the positions. Together with this, rules, regulations and disciplinary actions were formulated and agreed upon among themselves. Legal requirements may also be complied with and a Gantt Chart of activities was prepared in order to ensure that pre-operational, operational and post-operational activities are followed as scheduled. In view of the results shown, the Group has all the reasons to continue with the proposed project. Pouchelope will not only be useful for the students but it will also benefit the different sectors which includes the government, consumers, environment, officers and employees. This product will surely be beneficial to the consumers. 1997-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/16668 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository |
