This paper addressed problems concerning Bantay Bata 163 in general. Issues such as the organization's history as well as its vision, mission and goals were taken into account. Moreover, its organizational structure and the rewards system being employed by Bantay Bata 163 were also looked into. The services that they render and their employee's sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction, as well as the organization's members and employees perceived results in terms of the services that they have provided were also given a closer look. The methods employed for the actualization of this study were key informant interview, document study and limited participant observation. The key informant interviews were achieved through the researchers effort of going to the organization every so often. To make the task of interviewing easier, the researchers became volunteers of the organization. So while doing limited participant observation, at every chance the researchers get, they interview their respondents. The document study was made possible through the researchers collective effort in reading all the books available under this topic. The findings for both the key informant interview and document study were analyzed to see which answer best fit to answer the research problem. The data gathered were thoroughly checked against all the queries of the purpose of this research. In its three years of operation, Bantay Bata 163 has already catered to quite a number of children that suffer from all kinds of abuse. These children were given all the love and care that were deprived of them by their supposed care-givers. When deemed appropriate, Bantay Bata 163 either reunites the children with their families or refers them to other child-caring institutions. They also do family visits and community outreach as part of the numerous services that they offer and provide. Therefore, we can say that as an organization, Bantay Bata 163 has been an effective tool in combating the prevalence of child abuse in areas where their services are highly needed. 2000-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/16712 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository
