Padilla, Christopher Allan In the heart of Makati, the sun has risen on a new era of excellence with the completion of the US$50 million renovation on The Peninsula Manila. At this stage, after the renovation, the focal point of which is still The Lobby, old friends, familiar faces and new ones found their own niches in Manila's favorite meeting place. It has always been a favorite place for all types of functions, business and social events. The Service Plan aims to increase the average occupancy level to 65%, and eventually be the market leader. To achieve the goals, the group suggested several programs to be implemented in the areas of service development, pricing, sales and distribution, and promotions. The service plan indicated programs that would further enhance employees and guests' participation. The programs will be evaluated as with these factors in mind: occupancy level, market performance, sales, awareness and responsiveness of the target market. Such methods include questionnaires, interviews, and checklist. These are important in determining possible loopholes in the service plan and will serve as a guideline for the improvement and expansion of the strategies. Although The Peninsula Manila has already been in the industry for almost 20 years, competition is very stiff with the old and new hotels. Figures show renovation is not enough, marketing efforts are needed as well. 1996-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/16881 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository |

In the heart of Makati, the sun has risen on a new era of excellence with the completion of the US$50 million renovation on The Peninsula Manila.
