Summary: | Dial-A-Page has been an existing company for many years now but has been recently been acquired by Teletouch for two years now. They have been enjoying most of the market share here in Russellville, Arkansas providing fast and quality service to its customers.
Teletouch wants to maintain it leadership on secondary markets and continue to develop it through linking into contiguous places to increase its paging coverage area, to provide more value for existing customers and extend market penetration. With this goal in mind, the proponents give few suggestions in advertising and promotion in order to increase sales and on their service to have satisfied customers.
Advertising using the trimedia is suggested because it will reach both their primary and secondary markets. Television commercials will target 18-25 male and female living in the city of Arkansas and nearby states from every socio economic classes. Print advertisements are made to target business professionals ages 30-50, male and female belonging to classes A-D. Dial-A-Page should continue the promotional activities it has for their resellers about rewards and discounts and add a couple more for the individuals to have greater market penetration towards the younger set which in return will give the company a higher rate of return.
Monetary and material investments for the proposed plan is reasonable enough as not to give too much burden on the total budget of Dial-A-Page. And with the proper implementation and monitoring/evaluation of the programs, will even help the company increase sales and profits in the long run. |
