The enrollment Information System of the Lyceum of the Philippines was chosen by the group as the topic of the thesis. The main objective of the study deals with the procedures performed in maintaining files, scheduling of subjects, registration of students, payment of tuition and fees, and processing of student grades. A series of personal interviews, random sampling, research, observation of the existing system, and critical analysis disclosed several problem areas. Problem of generating pertinent reports, lengthy registration procedures, and conflicts in classroom assignments, are among the problem areas uncovered in the study. The proposal to solve these problem areas include the automation of certain procedures done in file maintenance, registration of students, scheduling of subjects, student payment and student grades.
