Cinco, Teresa Alicia L. Jacinto, Patricia Regina G. Legaspi, Margarita V. This study determined the standard recruitment program and selection process for entry-level positions that the International Corporate Bank (InterBank) is currently implementing in their Funds Management Group (FMG). Moreover, it specifically sought to determine the present recruitment method, selection devices and steps used in hiring employees for entry-level positions in the FMG as well as gauge its effectiveness. In addition, the study sought to determine the different factors and qualities considered by the bank in hiring applicants. Lastly, the different internal and external environments influencing the bank's recruitment program and selection process were also determined. The researchers employed a descriptive research design and collected data by using self-made interview guides. The researchers interviewed employees of the Human Resources Division and the different heads of the FMG. Results of the study indicated that the most commonly used recruitment method in the FMG was the external method of referral. The selection process was common for all divisions in the FMG. However, slight variations occurred with regard to the factors and qualities considered by the divisions in hiring applicants for entry-level positions. The most common factors given weight by the FMG group, as a whole, were educational background, personality and work experience. On the other hand, the traits of applicants favored by the FMG were intellectual preparedness, sense of responsibility and leadership ability. The results of the study indicated that the recruitment program and selection process of InterBank is effective for the FMG due to its low rate of turnover and its numerous strengths. 1991-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/17292 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Personnel management Bank employees International Corporate Bank
