This interdisciplinary paper examines the legal consequences of operating the said power plant, in relation to pertinent Philippine environmental laws. A basic understanding of power plant operation is also revealed. Scientific data is correlated with the law, after a thorough critical analysis. Likewise, relevant court ruling are reviewed to provide a clearer understanding on the application of the law.
