As technology improves in day to day basis sometimes laws which were created decades ago may not imply today. Smartphone are one of the fast improving technology with new features in store inside it will likely drastically change a life a person. Address book, notepad, email and internet are one of the new features of a cell phone. For many years warrantless search and seizure has been the power delegated to police officers for them to grasp criminals for the commission of their crime however, sometimes smartphone are found in the possession of the arrestee which offers may search digital evidence regarding the crime but with Smartphone's today, they are highly more personal than the older version which are just for communication. The study will show how we can balance the government interest and the privacy interest of a person to his Smartphone.
