總結:This study examined whether Whether or not the selected Philippine laws protective of women are in consonance with the main trust of CEDAW and UDHR of empowering them, instead of merely protecting them. This study examined Republic Acts 9262 or An Act Defining Violence Against Women And Their Children, Providing For Protective Measures For Victims, Prescribing Penalties Therefore, And For Other Purposes, specifically the provision in directing men to provide for his wife and/or their child. This study also examined Republic Act No. 7192 or An Act Promoting the Integration of Women as Full and Equal Partners of Men in Development and Nation Building and for Other Purposes specifically the provision on preventing their heavy migration.
