Summary:Don Aldrin Transport, one of the provincial bus companies in the Philippines, was first established by Ms. Marilyn Anacan in 1996. It has been one of the well-known provincial buses routing in Cavite providing service through mass transportation. For this study, the researchers aim to determine how Don Aldrin Transports present operating system be fully efficient to prevent an eventual deterioration of profit. In doing so, the researchers would first analyze the current operations of Don Aldrin Transport and then assess the areas where improvements are needed. Included in the operating systems that would be covered by the researchers are bus scheduling, staff scheduling, operational costs, ticketing and fare structures, capacity and operating hours, licensing, and fleet management. In order for the researchers to validate the problems seen, the researchers conducted a personal interview with the general manager of Don Aldrin Transport regarding its operations. The group also conducted a passenger satisfaction survey, as well as done research on published materials that are relevant to the topic, and also a hands-on experience with the bus company. To strengthen and justify our research, the researchers made use of frameworks such as key Success factors, Ishikawa Diagram, Work-centered Analysis, Profit Chain Management System and SWOT Matrix. After which, the researchers generated alternatives and came up with respective advantages and disadvantages to help choose the best recommendation for the bus company.
