Description
Summary:This research paper provides a thorough analysis and recommendations about what strategies will best fit EJB Farms Inc., a semi-commercial hog-raising husbandry which provides quality pork and services, in order to further improve its company performance and attain sustainable development. The goal of the study is to seek for the best alternative strategies that will help maximize the company's productivity, enhance its efficiency, and improve its market capability. To have a logical approach, the proposed corporate strategies are being recommended through frameworks. Methods of data analysis and strategy formulation includes the Porter's framework, External factor evaluation (EFE) matrix, Competitive profile matrix (CPM), Internal factor evaluation (IFE) matrix, Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) matrix, Quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) and lastly, the framework for the strategy implementation is the 8-SIT framework. The results of the data showed the vital key success factors both of the external environment and the internal environment. After carefully investigating and analyzing the data results, the three best alternative strategies for the company are Product Development, Market Development and Penetration and Asset Modification. These three alternatives are driven to improve the overall company performance, particularly its hog production, distribution channels and market and financial position.
