Description
Summary:There is always a gap between the academic world and the functioning world due to different practices that industries have. In Management Practicum, here is where that gap is closed. It guides students and the school to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Strengths and weaknesses of the students in terms of work attitude or habits, and professional competence. Strengths and weaknesses of the school in terms of the difference of the curriculum and what is practiced in the functioning world. The improvement of both parties may be long term but the important thing is both parties can have the opportunity to learn from these gaps and may be able to address the need for change to improve their respective performances. My 480 hours of internship was a great experience. I enjoyed my internship in Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. It was fun and at the same time a challenging experience which is, in my opinion, one of the great characteristics that an internship program should have. It has a great environment that drives students to be committed in achieving world-class performance in an accelerated effort. This paper would tell the readers what kind of internship there is in Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. It would also reflect how La Sallian education develops the youth for today's trends. I am blessed that Management Practicum is part of today's curriculum. It serves as the training grounds of the students in transition to the functioning world. It would give students an overview of what really is going on in the functioning world and prepares them to be successful professionals.
