This internship manuscript is submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of B.S. Business Administration major in Operations Management. The manuscript discusses all the necessary relevant information regarding my internship in Globe Telecom, Inc. for the period of 480 hours, commencing on May 21, 2012 and ended on August 31, 2012. This paper includes the brief background of Globe Telecom, Inc., its products/services, its market and uses in the Philippines, and as well as its Organizational Chart. Included also is the discussion of the major project that I was assigned to by my immediate company supervisor, the presentation of the tasks and responsibilities that were designated to me during my internship stay, the tools/software I used, the workflow and step-by-step illustration of the assigned tasks, and other relevant discussions on the nature of my work environment. Mainly, the reason why they hired interns is to help them reduce their backlog PRs that slows down their process of payment. At the end of my internship, our supervisor told us, interns, how we helped them in lessen their number of PRs unprocessed based on their monthly report (which is highly confidential). Lastly, the manuscript includes a thorough discussion of the management principles present in the company that I had observed during my internship stay which were discussed and taught to the Operations Management students during College.
