Description
Summary:This research paper aimed to determine the relationship between financial stressors (residence, low wage, bankruptcy, and repairs) and the productivity of employees of government financial institutions, in terms of absenteeism and performance rating. To be able to measure the correlation of the above mentioned variables, two kinds of surveys were conducted to two government financial institutions, namely Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Government Security and Insurance Services, with a sample size of sixty (60). Based on the results that were gathered after conducting statistics, absenteeism and financial stress is not significantly correlated. On the other hand, performance rating and financial stress is significantly correlated but a vicious cycle is present.
