Effects of the change in ownership structure of Philippine National Bank and United Coconut Planters Bank

In summary, the proponents found out that the Philippine National Bank yielded significant changes in terms of efficiency for asset management efficiency and funds management efficiency ratios after undertaking a change in ownership structure. SImilarly, in terms of profitability, both return on assets and return on equity were deemed insignificant. In terms of leverage, debt to equity and debt to total assets ratios were tested to be significant. In terms of liquidity, both liquid assets to total assets and liquid assets to total deposits were found to be significant. And lastly, in terms of risk, deposits to total assets and loans to deposits yielded significant changes. For United Coconut Planters Bank, on the other hand, all ratios fall under liquidity which are liquid assets to total assets liquid assets to total deposits are tested to be significant. In terms of risk ratios, loans to total assets indicated a significant change. All ratios under efficiency, profitability and leverage were tested to be insignificant.
