Description
Summary:This study was able to determine size distribution of micro particles present in air around DLSU. It was only limited around the area near De La Salle University in Taft Avenue, Manila from May 17 to June 11, 2015. An Optical Particle Size Spectrometer was used in collecting size distribution of particles and its concentration in certain areas. At the end of the paper, the researchers were able to determine size the differences between particle counts on each location. Also particle counts were correlated with the specific type of vehicles passing along Taft A venue. A significant difference of particle counts between different non-Taft area locations and no significant difference of particle counts along Taft Avenue was observed. A weak relationship between specific car types was also observed.
