Basic ethnobotanical procedures were carried out to obtain relevant data, namely: observation, participation, distribution of questionnaires, interviews, photography, and collection of botanical specimens.A total of 166 species belonging to 65 plant families were found to be economically significant to the Cuyonos as sources of food, building materials, tools and household articles, medicines, materials for personal care and ornamentation, animal feeds and forage, firewood and sources of toys.
