Summary: | This study uses different substrates in the preparation on planting spawn and bed. It utilizes substrates of fixed amount. Temperature, pH, and yield changes are to be determined. Culture was obtained from ITDI. It was observed that an increased in absorbed water brought considerable change in pH. There was no direct relation in pH and condition of growth. The experiment was conducted in two stages: 1) preparation of the planting spawn 2) use of the planting spawn in bedding. It was found out that banana shows the best growth. In the bedding stage, substrates have different water holding capacity. Effect of moisture relative to each other was noticeable. Growth in rice straw and banana favored higher moisture compared to coffee in production stage. Cropping showed that coffee substrate was the easiest to handle. |
