Summary: | A study on marine gastropod shells was conducted last April 1992 in Barangay Danggay of Roxas, Oriental Mindoro. The beach has a sandy substratum with small stones near the shore. Collection was done during low tide in the intertidal area and extending from 10 to 30 meters away from the shore. A total of 53 species were collected, identified and classified into 2 subclasses, 4 orders, 2 suborders, 14 superfamilies, 20 families and 28 genera. |
