| Summary: | This study is concerned with the rehabilitation of the present water supply system in Barrio Kapitolyo, with the objective of improving the water supply system in order that the subdivision can be sufficiently supplied with the volume of water required.This study involves the determining of the volume supplied compare with the volume required and to system that will satisfy the volume of water needed in the area.It was established that the deficiency of the system is due to the inadequacy of Pasig Pumping Station to supply all areas connected to the station such as San Juan, Cubao and Ortigas Center including Barrio Kapitolyo.The proposed system is to re-tap the water supply system of Barrio Kapitolyo to the system of Bagong Ilog which is also located at the same city. The future water requirement is already considered.Data and method in evaluating and analysing the proposed system was gathered from Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System. |
