The untreated soil with 60-30-30 commercial fertilizer, the untrated soil with compost from urban refuse and untreated soil and formula 1 [ (70 percent compost + 10 percent urea + 10 percent solophos + 10 percent potassium chloride) ] gave the highest shoot fresh weight with the value of 61.870 grams, 64.142 grams and 54.142 grams respectively.
