The macrobenthic algae from Kuwala, Nasugbu, Batangas were collected, preserved, identified and morphologically classified. Of the twenty-six (26) species of macrobenthic algae that were collected, five (5) belong to Class Chlorophycea, eight (8) to Class Phaeophyceae, and thirteen (13) to Class Rhodophyceae. Water tempeature ranges from 27.3 degree celcius - 30 degree celcius with an average of 28.8 degree celcius pH ranges from 7.5 - 7.6 with an average of 7.4. Salinity ranges from 27 ppt - 30 ppt with an average of 28 ppt and the amount of dissolved oxygen ranges from 8.4 - 11.6 with an average of 9.6. The substrate was found to be rocky-sandy.
