Unpasteurized fresh carabao's milk sold in San Rafael, Bulacan market were collected and analyzed for the presence of coliforms, coagulase (+) Staphylococcus sp., Salmonella sp. and Escherichia coli.The results showed that four of the twenty samples studied conformed to the microbial standard set by the Philippine Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) for raw milk as evidenced by their results which were as follows: 3 MPN/ml for Coliform Most Probable Number (MPN) Count and absence of Salmonella sp., coagulase (+) Staphylococcus sp. and Escherichia coli.
