This thesis is about DLSU College Students' Perception on the Critical Issues Faced by the Ramos Administration . It is a descriptive study which employed the survey method, in order to find out the awareness, and opinions of DLSU students on the stand/action of the Ramos administration on the critical issues it has faced. This study considered the way socialization agents , and personality factors affect an individual's awareness, formation of opinion, and general attitude towards the regime.This study found out that DLSU students are aware of the 11 issues considered in the study. Their level of awareness varies, depending on the issue concerned. It has also found out that they disagree on 8 out of the 11 issue considered in the study. The agree on the government's stand and action on the issues of Philippines 2000, and GATT. And they have a neutral opinion on the Church vs. State issue on the birth control methods. This agreement, disagreement, or neutrality position's intensity varies it could be a mere plurality, majority, or more than a majority position of the said population. It has also found out that they disagree on 8 out of the 11 issue considered in the study. They agree on the government's stand and action on the issues of Philippines 2000, and GATT. And they have a neutral opinion on the Church vs. State issue on the birth control methods. This agreement, disagreement, or neutrality position's intensity varies it could be a mere plurality, majority, or more than a majority position of the said population. It has also found out that DLSU students' primary source of information is the media and the said students have a positive perception of the media, and schools as sources of information. This study also found out that student members of socio-civic, political, and religious organizations are more aware of the critical issues on their polity, and disagree more on the government's stand/action on the said issues, than students belonging to special interest organizations.
