Fecal Samples were collected from male and female residents with ages ranging from 5 months to 12 years of age. Respondents are divided into two age groups. Children with ages ranging from 5 months to 5 years are classified under Group A. Children with ages ranging from 6 years to 12 years are classified under Group B. Group A has 69 respondents, 62.73 percent of the total respondents, and Group B has 41 respondents, 37.27 percent of the total respondents. A total of 70 fecal samples, with a prevalence rate of 63.64 percent, had one or more parasitic infections. Ascariasis had an overall prevalence rate of 50.91 percent with 56 samples positive for Ascaris lumbricoides infections. Trichuriasis had an overall prevalence rate of 26.36 percent, with 29 samples positive for Trichuris trichiura infections.
