Growth of Phaseolus aureus (mungbean) in different lahar-clay loam-fertilizer combinations

Phaseolus aureus (mungbean) was grown in different lahar-clay loam-fertilizer combinations. The different substrate combinations were clay loam, clay loam with 50-0-10, clay loam with less 50% of 50-0-10, clay loam with plus 50% of 50-0-10, lahar and clay loam, lahar and clay loam with 50-0-10, laha...

Description
Summary:Phaseolus aureus (mungbean) was grown in different lahar-clay loam-fertilizer combinations. The different substrate combinations were clay loam, clay loam with 50-0-10, clay loam with less 50% of 50-0-10, clay loam with plus 50% of 50-0-10, lahar and clay loam, lahar and clay loam with 50-0-10, lahar and clay loam with less 50% of 50-0-10 and lahar and clay loam with plus 50% of 50-0-10. The growth parameters examined were fresh weight, dry weight and ash weight. Results showed that the highest fresh, dry and ash weights were observed on plants grown in clay loam with 50-0-10. This was followed by the plant samples grown in lahar and clay loam with 50-0-10. The lowest fresh, dry and ash weights were observed on those grown in lahar and clay loam. The different lahar-clay loam-fertilizer combinations used significantly affected the plant's fresh weight, dry weight and ash weight based on the two way analysis of variance.
