Description
Summary:The growth of Schizophyllum commune Schroet (sikdot) in different substrates was determined. The substrates used were composted coconut husk + 50% rice bran, composted coconut husk + 20 % rice bran, composted coconut husk + 50% biogas sludge, composted coconut husk + 20% biogas sludge and composted coconut husk. The dry weight (0.227 g), length (21.7 mm) of the fruiting body and number (6) of fruiting bodies of Schizophyllum commune were highest in composted coconut husk alone compared with composted coconut husk + biogas sludge (1:1) in terms of dry weight (0.063), length (7.6 mm) of the fruiting body and number (4) of fruiting bodies and composted coconut husk + biogas sludge (5:1) in terms of dry weight (0.0. 121 g), length (11.4 mm) of the fruiting body and number (5) of fruiting bodies.
