A system study on the production department of Solid Ace Company

Solid Ace Aluminum and Glass Corporation is a firm engaged in the sale of different types of window, glass, mirror and aluminum products. Based on the study conducted by the proponent, it was found out that the company has been experiencing a 51.68% delays in terms of delivering the products to its customers and at the same time assembling them to their respective places. With this delays happening, they are suffer some losses in terms of customers goodwill and at the same time the lost sales which amounts to P 459,000.00. This happens because the company do experience delays that is why they cannot accommodate all people that goes to the store. The company's lack of workforce and at the same time lack of company vehicle leads to this delays. As found out using a simulation of the present systems as opposed to the proposed systems, it has been proven that the company do experience this delays because they lack company workers, or the so called assemblyman to the production area of the company in order to augment this problem, the company can add or hire additional manpower in order to minimize the job pilation and at the same time an additional worker can help minimize their delays. The addition of a van to the company can also help minimize the of the company in terms of delivery. The implementation of the Total Quality Management (TQM) to the company will also help the company in terms of motivating their employees, because as known that TQM gears toward a particular goal, and with that the all the company employees will have equal chances, wherein each and everyone of them can show of their own talent and management abilities.
