Summary:Fungi are eukaryotic organisms with distinct characteristics, classified in a separate kingdom. This study cover species under the Class Basidiomycetes. Basidiomycetes includes mushrooms, smuts, puffballs, rusts and bracket fungi. The specimens were collected in three stations of Mt. Palay Palay at 150 m, 250 m, and 350 m above sea level. Specimen were collected once a month on October, November of 1997 and March of 1998, preserved, identified and classified. Thirteen genera were identified. A taxonomic list of specimen is presented with the corresponding description of the specimen collected from the said site.
