Summary:A total of 44 species of marine gastropod shells were collected and identified from the intertidal zone of Wawa Port and Fortune Island, Nasugbu, Batangas. They were classified into 2 subclasses (Prosobranchia and Ophisthobranchia), 5 orders (Archaegastropoda, Mesoastropoda, Neogastropoda, Entomotaeniata and Cephalaspidea), 3 suborders (Taeniaglossa, Rachiglossa and Toxoglossa), 12 superfamilies (Patellacea, Trochacea, Neritacea, Strombacea, Cypraeacea, Naticacea, Tonnacea, Buccinacea, Volutacea, Conacea, Bullacea and Acteonacea), 16 families (Acmaeidae, Trochidae, Neritidae, Strombidae, Cypraeidae, Naticidae, Bursidae, Muricidae, Buccinidae, Olividae, Mitridae, Turbinellidae, Conidae, Terebridae, Bullidae and Acteonidae) and 21 genera (Patelloida, Monodonta, Turbo, Nerita, Lambis, Strombus, Terebellum, Cypraea, Natica, Polinices, Bursa, Murex, Thais, Cantharus, Oliva, Cancilla, Vasum, Conus, Terebra, Bulla and Pupa). Genera Conus was the most represented with 7 species: C. cinereus, C. textile, C. magus, C. ebraeus, C. generalis, C. mustelinus and C. flavidus.
