Abstract. The proponent successfully developed the Two-Wavelength LIDAR Data Analysis System using Borland C++ Builder 4 in the WIndows 95 platform. The Two-Wavelength LIDAR Data Analysis Software was designed to be utilized by the DLSU multiple-wavelength LIDAR. The software is capable of automatically processing multiple LIDAR data files using the Two-Wavelength Inversion proposed by Potter with the help of the Klett boundary value. Thus, the extinction coefficient profile a(n,z) and the backscatter coefficient, and the range-squared corrected signal can be made. In this study, LIDAR data at the 1064 nm and 532 nm Nd: YAG Wavelengths were used. Results show that the use of the Klett boundary value has improved the Potter Two-Wavelength LIDAR inversion algorithm. Further, the use of the ro and rm for the 1064 nm wavelength greatly affects the results obtained for the 532-nm extinction profile. In addition, the assumption of an altitude-independent ky also affects the results of the extinction for the 532 nm wavelength. 2000-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/1708 Bachelor's Theses Animo Repository
