Marginal Heat, Temporal Light: A Post-structuralist Feminist Study of Benilda Santos' Alipato is a study on the book of Dr. Benilda N. Santos entitled Alipato: Mga Bago at Piling Tula. The study aims to show how the ten poems selected from the said collection function as feminist texts using Julia Kristeva's theories of marginality and abjection, subversion and dissidence. The study includes a short background on feminist writing in the Philippines, the life and achievements of Benilda Santos', the work of Julia Kristeva and her contribution to the world of literature and the process of how the analysis of each poem is to be carried out. Towards the end of the study, a summary and synthesis of the analyses is made. The study also includes recommendations for future studies. Appended are the ten poems for analysis. 2004-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/2139 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Santos Benilda S 1948- Philippine poetry Philippine literature Comparative Literature
