With this concept in mind, the author wanted to determine the level of their economic interdependence based on their production networks from 1980 to 2005. The author then formulated specific questions that would help her grasp the answers to the problem stated above. These questions deal with the sectors of the Japanese economy that is dependent on China, the structure of Japanese FDI, Japanese production networks in China (purpose, local content, production system), the connection between production networks and economic interdependence, and the government responses on increased economic interdependence. The author would then utilize the use of documentary analysis and case studies for analyzing the data gathered from government sources of both countries, other official agencies and books and journals found in De La Salle University's library and through online subscriptions. 2007-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/2160 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Japan--Foreign economic relations--China International and Area Studies
