Summary: | A total of ten bacterial isolates were obtained from Cycas riuminiana root nodules using congo red-yeast extract mannitol agar (CR-YEMA). These isolates were characterized in terms of morphological and biochemical characteristics. Seven of these bacterial isolates were identified using partial 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis. Results revealed that they belong to the genera Brachybacterium, Pseudomonas, and Ralstonia/Cupriavidus. |
