Summary:This thesis aims to answer all the critical arguments of an existentialist ethics. It uses the philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre particularly his ontology, freedom, bad faith, responsibility, inter-subjectivity, and authenticity. It answers the critiques of different scholars and different philosophical theories. This work explains first the different characteristics of an existentialist ethics and explains how those criticisms against it not tenable. In the discussion of this thesis, the reader will have a different look on existentialist ethics and how it can help the people live their everyday lives and give meaning to their own lives by living freely and maximizing their lives.
