Alzheimer's Disease, or AD for short, is one of the most immobilizing and prevalent sickness that senior citizens encounter in their old age (Blieszner and Shifflett 57 Powell and Courtice 5). People infected with this disease suffer from memory loss and other debilitating symptoms such as prevention of any form of contact with other people (Blieszner and Shifflett 57 Chesla et al 3). Families who have members with Alzheimer's encounter a huge number of difficulties. Taking care of family members with AD also hampers new possible relationships with people outside the family (Blieszner and Shifflett 57). Most caregivers of people with AD are their own family members and recent research have focused on burdens they encounter, while a few focus on the positive experiences (Sherman and Bauer 492 Chesla et al 4). This thesis is a screenplay tries to show how family members remain a positive attitude in taking care of family members with AD.
