Description
Summary:The Day water disappeared faces the issues on water scarcity, and over-consumption of water in the class-A household. It also aims to teach children from the class A areas that water is a finite resource, and that one day if we are careless with it, it is go away as well as to conserve water. The animation style is a variation of cut-out animation, as well as 2D computer animation. The cut-out animation is be used on the background images, to symbolize reality in the tale. The animation is a very light-hearted fiction story, and it is told in a way children will understand. The entire story is narrated and told like a fairy-tale, this is to help make it feel magical and interesting to children, like a story told during bed-time. The scenes flip-over like a picture book, to keep the same mood as a fairy-tale. The animation takes a children's adventure theme, which is kept exciting. Water is a basic necessity, and a lot of people in the Philippines are not receiving a clean supply of water. Although, on the opposite side of the spectrum, there are people who have an over-flowing supply of water. These people who do have clean flowing water do not appreciate this privilege and take it for granted, which is seen in their over-consumption and even wasteful use.
