Using originally produced music this four-minute video aims to promote both local artists and local electronic dance music (EDM) through a visual presentation of a locally produced dubstep track by Mecha Hell, a homegrown electronica DJ and producer. Considering the role of media as highly related to youth identification, the dubstep scene can be viewed as a response to the presentation of modern urban youth and as a result, the video intends to illustrate the intensity and interest of dubstep as a new and upcoming genre in the Philippines and its response to the Filipinos. With the use of a narrative storyline, it target the audience on how one self battle and confront his own perception of good and vilâ Assault is a music video with a play on shots and editing that captures the dim emotion and sentiment of what separates dubstep to other musical genres.
