Today, one if the writing trends comes in the form of blogging. Blogging is an internet phenomenon which has attracted so many young and aspiring writers due to its different kind of journaling experience: instead of keeping a personal diary in the form of a notebook, it is more allowing other people read about you by composing a personal entry and publishing it online through the blog. This is only one of the kinds of blogging and it is called a personal blog. Due to this trend, I could not help but wonder about how blogging is in any way connected to creative nonfiction writing. This paper aims to find out the role and effect of blogging to literature, specifically to creative nonfiction writers, through interviewing some of the new creative writers and also basing on the essays of German critic Walter Benjamin and American political theorist Benjamin Barber. Included in this study are how blogging has helped the writers in their writing process, if these are positive or negative, what makes blogging appealing and how this technology is affecting creative nonfiction writing. 2010-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/2521 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Blogs Online journalism Internet--Social aspects Comparative Literature
