Summary: | The 3D Display Augmentation to the implementation of the Finite-Difference Time Domain Method in Volunteer Computing extends upon the foundation built by the Implementation of the Finite-Difference Time Domain Method in Volunteer Computing. It provides a basic framework for implementing the simulation of electromagnetic waves through the use of the Finite-Difference Time Domain method developed by Kane Yee. The system expands upon it further by providing a working networking structure for parallel computing using the volunteer computing paradigm and displaying inputs and results in 3 dimensions. The system was developed using Java and Java3D and was tested under the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. |
