This creative writing thesis contains three short stories plus an epilogue about the different struggles and forms of marginalization that the characters experience. It focuses on the grandmother, mother, and daughter. This will be done using two objectives: the first would be to identify the different forms of marginalization in each story. The second is to determine whether or not these forms of marginalization and discrimination can be beaten. Moreover, the use of the traditional narrative style of writing will be used in order to bring into surface themes associated to Womens Fiction or Womens Writing particularly isolation, identity, and distance. Majority of the stories is set in the province of Capiz in order to provide alternative perceptions to the patriarchal Philippine arena. 2013-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/2615 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Fiction
